2020 has been a trying year. Many of our local small businesses are suffering, families are juggling virtual learning, childcare, work & staying healthy.
Kudos to all of those out there who are doing what you can to help.
We here at Dean Distributing are proud of our company for doing their part to help as well. They have fully supported the Covid-19 safety and social distancing guidelines both in-house and in our market, providing masks & hand sanitizer to all of their employees, along with monitoring any symptoms & allowing for employee quarantine if necessary.
When the pandemic shut down dining in for local bars & restaurants Dean Distributing brought attention to this and shared links to their takeout menus on their social pages, purchased gift cards to some of our local restaurants and gave them away to help support their takeout dining.
In years past DDI has supported employee bell ringing for the Salvation Army, and this year they sponsored the 2020 Red Kettle Bell Ringing Campaign with a $5, 000 match donation. They also continue to support our local food pantries with generous monetary donations. DDI donates to addiction recovery & rehabilitation support centers as well.
They provide opportunities for their employees to give back as well, by co-sponsoring local families in need. Again this year, Dean Distributing employees will step up to purchase items that will help to give them a special Christmas, while Dean Distributing will provide gift cards to local stores for groceries & necessities for these families.
