2024 Great American Beer Festival Awards

October 15, 2024

The biggest beer festival in the US goes to the Great American Beer Festival. It’s an annual beer festival hosted by the Brewers Association, held in Denver, Colorado. You can look forward to it in the fall months, usually falling between late September or early October. The first ever GABF was in June of 1982. Since 2004, the attendance has doubled and tripled in recent years. Dean Distributing is so proud of the breweries we get to work with daily who won awards. Congratulations to the following breweries for their hard work paying off; Untitled Art, The Brooklyn Brewery, Elysian Brewing, & finally, Third Space Brewing.

Untitled Art won Silver in the Amber to Dark Non-Alcohol Beer category with their fall seasonal Non-Alcoholic Oktoberfest. This NA features rich caramel and Vienna malts for body and a crisp finish courtesy of Cascade Hops.

The Brooklyn Brewery was awarded Bronze for their Special Effects Grapefruit IPA. This NA features a zesty punch of sweet and zingy grapefruit. Every sip bursts with a bold aroma and tart finish that’s both tantalizing and satisfying.

Elysian Brewing took home Gold for Great Pumpkin in the Pumpkin Beer Category. This Imperial Pumpkin Ale is spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice and consists of a medium to full body.

Third Space Brewing won Gold and Silver. Gold was awarded to Pretty Good Amber and Silver was for Cucumber Lime Blonde. Pretty Good has an inviting amber hue, robust foundation of caramel malt and balanced hop profile. Whereas Cucumber Lime Blonde is a light and refreshing ale flowing with flavors of cucumber and zesty lime.

Congratulations again to all these amazing breweries and their creative staff.
